Overview
The Accuway UT-380LX2 handles work up to 680 mm (26.8 in) in diameter and 2,130 mm (83.9 in) long. Its Z travel is 2,250 mm (88.6 in), and it weighs 12,200 kg (26,896 lb).
One row is missing from the table on this page. The spindle motor power is printed with a stray bracket on Accuway's site, so it is not reproduced here. The gear box is named under standard accessories, as on the other UT-380 models, and the speed row is intact: 2,700 rpm, 2,500 rpm, 2,000 rpm and 1,800 rpm across the four spindle columns. Confirm the motor rating with the maker.
This bed is built differently from the shorter ones. The dimension row reads 6.4 x 2.2 x 2.4 m (252.0 x 86.6 x 94.5 in), so the machine is taller than the UT-380LX and nearly a metre longer than the equally long-travel UT-360LX2, which is 5.5 m. Z rapid traverse is 15 m/min (591 in/min).
Turning length by column is 2,130 mm (83.9 in), 2,050 mm (80.7 in), 2,050 mm (80.7 in) and 1,990 mm (78.3 in). With the A2-15 nose, the 18 in chuck and the 166.5 mm (6.6 in) bore, two-metre pipe can be chucked through the spindle and supported by the MT#6 tailstock, whose body travels 2,040 mm (80.3 in). A steady rest is optional. The turret has 12 BOT stations.
