Overview
The Accuway UV-75E turns parts up to 750 mm (29.5 in) in diameter and 700 mm (27.6 in) tall on a 24 in chuck. It weighs 15,000 kg (33,069 lb), nearly three times the UV-55E, and that mass is the main thing a buyer gets for stepping up: a vertical lathe heavy enough for large castings and forgings.
The spindle has an A2-11 nose with belt drive and an 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp) motor. The speed row reads 1,600 (630) rpm and the chuck row 24 (32) in. Accuway does not explain the brackets, but the options list includes an upgrade to a 32" (or 40") non-through hole 3-jaw hydraulic chuck and cylinder, and a gearbox. A larger chuck must turn slower, so read the bracketed 630 rpm together with the bracketed chuck and confirm both.
