Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Hartford HSA-327 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Hartford HSA-327 opens the large HSA range: double-column machining centers with a #50 spindle, a slant cross-beam and optional Z strokes. X travel is 3,000 mm (118.1 in), Y is 2,700 mm (106.3 in), and the table is 3,000 x 2,200 mm (118.1 x 86.6 in) for 10,000 kg (22,046 lb).
From this size the HSA changes character. The four small models can be had in #40; this one cannot. In return it lists three spindle drives. The gear head runs 6,000 / 8,000 rpm, the DDS spindle 10,000 / 12,000 rpm and a built-in motor spindle 12,000 rpm. Motors start at 15 / 18.5 kW and are optional at 18.5 / 22 kW, 22 / 26 kW and 30 /37 kW (Cont. / 30 min).
Z travel is 780 mm as standard, with 1,000 mm and 1,200 mm as options. The ram runs on four linear guideways in Hartford's patented arrangement, credited with 20% more rigidity while cutting.
In Hartford's own grouping the x27 models, like the x23 and x212, have two linear guideways under the table on the X axis; the three-guideway X axis starts with the x28 models. Ballscrew support on X is optional below 4 meters. The magazine holds 32 tools, or 40 or 60.
