Overview
The Vision Wide HF-10042M is a ten-metre five-face machine for ultra-large workpieces: 10,100 mm (397.6 in) of X travel, 4,200 mm (165.4 in) of Y, 1,500 mm (59.1 in) of Z, and a 10,000×3,000 mm (393.7×118.1 in) table rated for 36,000 kg (79,365 lb).
Feedback is specified differently here than on the other Vision Wide bridge machines. Z axis linear scale feedback is a standard accessory, and X/Y-axis linear scale feedback is the option. Elsewhere in the range all three scales are optional. The reasoning is easy to follow: the Z axis on this series is the long, heavily loaded one, and errors in depth show directly on the part.
On a 10,100 mm X axis, though, the optional X scale is hard to leave off. Add it to the quotation unless the work is roughing only.
Vision Wide gives the series a spindle torque output of 1,500~2,000Nm and says the HFM satisfies demands in heavy cutting ability, angles cutting, 3D mold cutting and precise contour finishing. Motor power is 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp), or 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) as an option. Rapid traverse is 15/15/12 m/min and cutting feed 1~7,000 mm/min.
