Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Baykal APHS 4110x240 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Baykal APHS 4110x240 tops out the light four-metre frame with 2,400 kN over a bending length of 4,100 mm (161.4 in). The next size up moves to the heavy frame and adds more than four tonnes.
Weight is the argument for this model. At about 14 Ton it bends heavy four-metre parts on a floor that could not take the APHS 4112x300, which Baykal lists at 18.5 Ton. The price of that lightness is geometry: a 410 mm (16.1 in) throat gap, a 260 mm (10.2 in) stroke, a 530 mm (20.9 in) daylight opening and a 90 mm (3.5 in) table, all as on the APHS 4108x200.
The drive is the 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor with a 210 L tank. Ram speeds are 150 mm/s on approach, 10 mm/s when bending and 100 mm/s on return. Return is the slow leg, and on a part with a dozen bends it is the one you will notice.
Compared with the three-metre machine of equal force, the APHS 3112x240, this one approaches faster and returns slower. The side frame width is 1,610 mm (63.4 in) on both, and the bed height 880 mm (34.6 in), so the two can share tooling and platforms.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 2,400 kN on four metres at about 14 Ton
- Keeps the 10 mm/s working speed
- 150 mm/s approach, quicker than the APHS 3112x240 at 130 mm/s
- 210 L tank, smaller than the 280 L of the APHS 4112x300
Limitations
- Return speed of 100 mm/s is the lowest of the light-frame sizes
- Light-frame geometry: 410 mm (16.1 in) throat and 260 mm (10.2 in) stroke
- 22 kW (29.5 hp) connected motor

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Force and tool space. The APHS 4112x300 has 3,000 kN, a 500 mm (19.7 in) throat, 320 mm (12.6 in) of stroke, 635 mm (25 in) of daylight and a 280 mm (11 in) table. This model is lighter, at about 14 Ton, and bends at 10 mm/s.
02
Approach 150 mm/s, working 10 mm/s, return 100 mm/s. The return figure is 10 mm/s below the APHS 4108x200, which returns at 110 mm/s.
03
A 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor drawing from a 210 L tank. The same motor rating appears on the APHS 3112x240 and on the APHS 4112x300.

3,550 mm (139.8 in). The full 4,100 mm (161.4 in) bending length is available in front of the frames, to a depth set by the 410 mm (16.1 in) throat gap.
