Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Baykal APHS 3112x240 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Baykal APHS 3112x240 is as far as Baykal takes the light APHS frame at 3,100 mm (122 in): 2,400 kN of force with the 410 mm (16.1 in) throat gap and 260 mm (10.2 in) stroke that the APHS 3104x90 already has with 900 kN. Beyond this size the series switches to a deeper, taller and much heavier frame.
Force has been added faster than drive capacity, and the ram speeds show it. Approach is 130 mm/s and return 120 mm/s. The APHS 3110x200 below it manages 150 mm/s and 130 mm/s. Working speed is unchanged at 10 mm/s. On long runs of simple parts that slower free travel adds up; on heavy single bends it hardly matters.
The motor is rated 22 kW (29.5 hp) and feeds from a 210 L tank. Baykal lists the weight as roughly 11 Ton, with a side frame width of 1,610 mm (63.4 in). The table is 90 mm (3.5 in) wide and stands 880 mm (34.6 in) high.
Buyers comparing this model with the next size up should look past the tonnage. The APHS 3116x300 has the same 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor but a 500 mm (19.7 in) throat, 320 mm (12.6 in) of stroke and a weight of 15 Ton. If deep parts are not on the list, the APHS 3112x240 does heavy three-metre bending in a far smaller package.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 2,400 kN in a machine of about 11 Ton
- Highest force available on the compact 3,100 mm frame with 880 mm (34.6 in) bed height
- Working speed remains 10 mm/s; the APHS 3116x300 bends at 8 mm/s
- 90 mm (3.5 in) table width
Limitations
- Approach speed of 130 mm/s and return of 120 mm/s are the slowest of the light-frame three-metre sizes
- Stroke of 260 mm (10.2 in) and daylight opening of 530 mm (20.9 in) do not grow with the force
- 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor on a 210 L tank

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The ram approaches at 130 mm/s, bends at 10 mm/s and returns at 120 mm/s. Both free-travel speeds are lower than on the APHS 3110x200, which is listed at 150 mm/s approach and 130 mm/s return.
02
The APHS 3116x300 has 3,000 kN on a different frame: 500 mm (19.7 in) throat, 320 mm (12.6 in) stroke, 660 mm (26 in) daylight and a 380 mm (15 in) table. This model has 2,400 kN with a 410 mm (16.1 in) throat, a 260 mm (10.2 in) stroke and 530 mm (20.9 in) of daylight.
03
Yes, the APHS 4110x240 carries 2,400 kN over 4,100 mm (161.4 in). The APHS 4110x240 uses the same 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor and 210 L tank, approaches faster at 150 mm/s and returns slower at 100 mm/s.
04
A floor for roughly 11 Ton and a supply for a 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor. The tank takes 210 L of oil. Baykal's data sheet does not print voltage, overall dimensions or foundation details.
