How much does the AWEA LP-7033 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the AWEA LP-7033 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
No LP model reaches further than the AWEA LP-7033: 7,000 mm (275.6 in) of X travel, 3,300 mm (129.9 in) of Y, a 7,020 x 2,400 mm (276.4 x 94.5 in) table and 66,000 kg (145,503 lb) of machine. Three things set it apart from the rest of the series, and all three come from its length.
First, the X axis is measured directly. AWEA's accuracy footnote says that machines with X travel of 7,000 mm and more carry an X-axis linear scale as a standard accessory. The listed VDI figures reflect it: P = 0.040 mm positioning accuracy over full travel and Ps = 0.030 mm repeatability, tighter than the P ≤ 0.050 mm and Ps ≤ 0.035 mm of the shorter LP-6033.
Second, delivery. The maker notes that a base for X travel longer than 6,000 mm may be built in two sections because of transport limits. Expect the bed to be joined and aligned on site, and plan the foundation and the installation time for that.
Third, speed. X rapid traverse is 7,500 mm/min (295 ipm), the lowest in the LP series; the LP-6033 moves at 10,000 mm/min (394 ipm). Y and Z rapids are 15,000 mm/min (591 ipm).
Table load is 20,000 kg (44,092 lb), which is no more than the LP-6033 carries. The extra metre is for longer parts, or for two setups side by side, not for heavier ones. The spindle is the common LP unit: BT50, 22 / 26 kW (30 / 35 HP), 6,000 rpm standard.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 7,000 mm (275.6 in) of X travel, the longest in the LP series
- X-axis linear scale is a standard accessory at this travel
- VDI positioning accuracy of P = 0.040 mm over full travel, tighter than the LP-6033 figure
- 7,020 x 2,400 mm (276.4 x 94.5 in) table rated for 20,000 kg (44,092 lb)
- 3,500 mm (137.8 in) between columns with 3,300 mm (129.9 in) of Y travel
Limitations
- X rapid traverse of 7,500 mm/min (295 ipm), the slowest X axis of the LP machines
- The base may be delivered in two sections, which adds work at installation
- Table load of 20,000 kg (44,092 lb) is no higher than on the LP-6033
- 66,000 kg (145,503 lb) machine weight, against 57,000 kg (125,661 lb) for the LP-6033

Frequently Asked Questions
01
On the X axis, yes. AWEA's specification footnote states that machines with X-axis travel of 7,000 mm or more come with the X-axis linear scale as a standard accessory. The table does not mention scales on Y or Z for this model.
02
Not necessarily. AWEA describes a one-piece base structure for the series but adds that with X-axis travel longer than 6,000 mm the base may be in two sections due to the transportation limit. The LP-7033, with 7,000 mm (275.6 in) of X travel and a weight of 66,000 kg (145,503 lb), falls under that note.
03
04
The LP-7033 adds 1,000 mm of X travel and table length and a standard X-axis linear scale, with listed VDI accuracy of P = 0.040 mm against P ≤ 0.050 mm for the LP-6033. The LP-6033 is faster in X, 10,000 mm/min (394 ipm), and lighter at 57,000 kg (125,661 lb). Both carry 20,000 kg (44,092 lb).
05
32 as standard, with 60, 90 or 120 tool magazines as options. Tools can be up to Ø127 mm in diameter, or Ø215 mm with the adjacent pockets empty, up to 350 mm (13.8 in) long and up to 20 kg (44 lb).
