Overview
The Accurl MasterLINE X 6001.20 is the narrow 6 m model of the line: 6,010 mm (236.6 in) of work area length on a 2,010 mm (79.1 in) width. It is also the first size on which the table rating steps up to 550 kg/m².
Why build a 6 m machine only 2 m wide? Because a great deal of plate is sold 2 m wide, and the narrower table saves floor. Accurl's approximate installed width is 3,580 mm (140.9 in), against 4,080 mm (160.6 in) for the MasterLINE X 6001.25, on the same 16,230 mm (639 in) length. Half a metre along a sixteen-metre cell is a useful aisle.
The heavier table rating matters as much as the length. At 550 kg/m², thick plate can be loaded as a full sheet, which is what the high-power sources need: Accurl's table shows 30 mm (1.18 in) of mild steel at 12 kW and 50 mm (1.97 in) at 30 kW, and sources of up to 60 kW are offered for the series. The shuttle table is described as taking 20 seconds to extend or retract.
Speed and accuracy are the line's standard figures, up to 180,000 mm/min with ± 0.03 mm positioning accuracy and ± 0.02 mm repeatability. On long plate nests the traverse speed is felt mainly on the repositioning moves from one end of the sheet to the other. Height with peripherals is 2,680 mm (105.5 in).
