How much does the Durma HD-FN 3015 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Durma HD-FN 3015 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Durma positions the HD-FN 3015 as the plainer of its flat-bed fiber lasers: a 3,048 x 1,524 mm (120.0 x 60.0 in) machine with laser power up to 20 kW and moderate axis dynamics. X travel is 3,100 mm (122.0 in) and Y travel 1,525 mm (60.0 in). The Z axis is printed as 125 (270) mm, without an explanation of the bracketed figure.
Speed first. Each axis reaches 100 m/min, the synchronized speed is 141 m/min and synchronized acceleration is 14 m/s². Positioning accuracy and repeatability are ±0.05 mm. On thick plate, where feed is set by the cut and not by the axes, those figures cost nothing.
The brochure's cutting-capacity table is organised by source power. With 6 kW it gives 25 mm in mild steel; with 12 kW, 30 mm; with 20 kW, 40 (50) mm. Durma explains that a bracketed value is a thickness that can still be cut with minimal burr formation, and that all of them are standard cutting parameters that vary with part geometry and cutting speed. Stainless steel and aluminium both reach 40 (50) mm at 20 kW. Copper is listed at 15 mm from 12 kW upward.
Sheet weight depends on the source as well: 240 kg/m² on a single table for the lower powers up to 12 kW, and 400 kg/m² for 15-20 kW. A buyer choosing a high-power source should check that figure against the plate actually stocked. The cutting head has motorized automatic focus adjustment and collision protection with a ceramic part.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Laser power up to 20 kW, with mild steel capacity listed to 40 (50) mm at that power
- 141 m/min synchronized speed with 100 m/min on each axis
- Single-table sheet weight of 400 kg/m² with 15-20 kW sources
- Motorized automatic focus position adjustment and a single focus lens for thin and thick material
- Fully automatic vibrating dust collection filter and a dual-chamber chiller
Limitations
- Synchronized acceleration is 14 m/s², half the 28 m/s² of the HD-F 3015 VI
- Positioning accuracy and repeatability are ±0.05 mm
- With sources up to 12 kW the table is limited to 240 kg/m²
- Capacity figures are standard cutting parameters; rust, scale and surface defects on mild steel reduce them

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It depends on the source. Durma's table lists mild steel at 16 (20) mm with 3 kW, 25 mm with 6 kW, 30 mm with 12 kW and 40 (50) mm with 20 kW. Stainless steel is 15 (20) mm at 6 kW and 25 (30) mm at 12 kW. The bracketed values are thicknesses that can be cut with minimal burr formation.
02
Maximum speed is 100 m/min on X and 100 m/min on Y, with a maximum synchronized speed of 141 m/min. Synchronized acceleration is 14 m/s². Both positioning accuracy and repeatability are given as ±0.05 mm.
03
The limit is stated per square metre on a single table and changes with laser power: 240 kg/m² for the range Durma prints as 3…12 kW, and 400 kg/m² for 15-20 kW. The maximum sheet size is 3,048 x 1,524 mm (120.0 x 60.0 in).
04
The bed format is the same. The HD-F 3015 VI is the faster machine, at 170 m/min synchronized, 28 m/s² and ±0.03 mm, where the HD-FN 3015 is listed at 141 m/min, 14 m/s² and ±0.05 mm. Durma's HD-FN page states a power ceiling of 20 kW.
