Overview
With a work area of 4,010 mm (157.9 in) by 2,010 mm (79.1 in), the Accurl SmartLINE X 4001.20 handles the 4,000 x 2,000 mm sheet, the format that plate suppliers and structural fabricators use most. Its shuttle table is rated at 350 kg/m².
A larger sheet changes the economics of nesting more than it changes the machine. More parts fit per sheet, long parts no longer need to be split, and there are fewer pallet changes per tonne cut. The motion system is the one shared across the line: an ultra-light cast aluminium gantry on helical toothed racks driven on both sides, with traverse speed up to 140,000 mm/min.
Heavier sheets are the reason the load rating rises with size. The SmartLINE X 3001.15 is rated at 300 kg/m² and the SmartLINE X 6001.25 at 450 kg/m²; this model sits between them. A table rating per square metre translates directly into a thickness ceiling for a full sheet, whatever the laser could cut, so match the source to the plate you can actually load. The source list runs to 30 kW, where Accurl's table shows 50 mm (1.97 in) of mild steel and 40 mm (1.57 in) of stainless.
The installed cell is approximately 11,760 mm (463 in) long, 3,550 mm (139.8 in) wide and 2,540 mm (100 in) high with peripherals. Control is the TWINCUT S80, whose standard functions include sheet layer detection, automatic recut of incomplete cuts and an integrated CAD/CAM system.
