Overview
For twin-spindle production of parts too long for the 460 mm (18.1 in) stroke of the VM85-2S, You Ji builds the VM110-2S. It is a double spindle vertical machining center with 620 mm (24.4 in) of X-axis travel, the larger of the two VM2S sizes.
The table is 1,260 x 550 mm (49.6 x 21.7 in). Two fixtures sit along it, one under each BT-40 spindle, and the X stroke moves both parts at once. Y-axis travel of 600 mm (23.6 in) lets the Y direction hold the long side of a part if that suits the fixture better. Z-axis travel is also 600 mm (23.6 in).
