Price estimate
We do not have a price for the You Ji DCM18 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The You Ji DCM18 is the entry size of You Ji's bridge type machining centers, with 1,800 mm (70.9 in) between the columns and a table 1,500 mm (59.1 in) wide. It comes in two lengths: a 2,200 mm (86.6 in) table with 2,200 mm (86.6 in) of X travel, or a 3,200 mm (126.0 in) table with 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of X.
Y-axis travel is 2,000 mm (78.7 in). That is more than the column spacing, so the spindle can travel beyond the table edges, typically to reach a tool changer or an attachment station at the side.
This is the quick one of the series. Its BT-50 spindle is listed at 8,000 rpm with 10,000 rpm as an option; the DCM30 and DCM35 run at 6,000 rpm. For a 50-taper bridge machine that speed opens up finishing passes on mould surfaces and aluminium plate that slower double-column machines leave to a second machine.
Z-axis travel is 750 mm (29.5 in), or 900 mm (35.4 in) as an option. Table load is 8,000 kg (17,637 lb) on the short table and 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) on the long one. The catalogue table for the DCM series stops there: it gives no motor power, tool capacity, feed rates or outside dimensions, and those have to come from a quotation.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 8,000 rpm BT-50 spindle, with 10,000 rpm as an option
- 2,000 mm (78.7 in) Y travel on a machine with 1,800 mm (70.9 in) between columns
- Two table lengths, 2,200 mm (86.6 in) and 3,200 mm (126.0 in)
- Table load of 8,000 or 10,000 kg (17,637 or 22,046 lb)
Limitations
- Z travel of 750 mm (29.5 in) as standard; 900 mm (35.4 in) is an option
- Workpiece width is bounded by the 1,800 mm (70.9 in) column spacing
- No spindle power, tool capacity or machine dimensions in the published table
- Longest X travel is 3,200 mm (126.0 in); longer tables start with the DCM25

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Two. The table is 2,200 x 1,500 mm (86.6 x 59.1 in) with 2,200 mm (86.6 in) of X-axis travel, or 3,200 x 1,500 mm (126.0 x 59.1 in) with 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of X. Distance between columns is 1,800 mm (70.9 in) for both.
02
A 7/24 taper BT-50 spindle. The listed speed is 8,000 rpm and the optional speed 10,000 rpm. Motor power and torque are not printed in the catalogue table.
03
Maximum loading weight is 8,000 kg (17,637 lb) or 10,000 kg (22,046 lb). The two figures are printed alongside the two table lengths, the higher one going with the longer table.
04
The DCM25 is the next size: 2,500 mm (98.4 in) between columns, a 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide table and 2,900 mm (114.2 in) of Y travel, with X up to 6,200 mm (244.1 in). Both share the 8,000 rpm speed and the 750 mm (29.5 in) Z travel.
