Price estimate
We do not have a price for the You Ji DCM35 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Largest of the bridge type machining centers in You Ji's DCM series, the DCM35 has 3,500 mm (137.8 in) between its columns and a table 3,000 mm (118.1 in) wide. Tables are 4,000 to 6,000 mm (157.5 to 236.2 in) long.
No short version exists. X-axis travel is 4,200 or 6,200 mm (165.4 or 244.1 in), so the smallest DCM35 is already longer than the base DCM30. Load ratings are 18,000, 20,000 and 22,000 kg (39,683, 44,092 and 48,501 lb).
Here is a detail that is easy to miss: the Y-axis travel is 3,860 mm (152.0 in), the same figure the DCM30 has. On the DCM30 that stroke overshoots the columns by a wide margin. On the DCM35 the wider column spacing uses up part of that margin, so the head has less run-out beyond the table on each side. If angle heads or side-mounted attachments are planned, ask how far past the table edge the spindle centre can go.
The spindle is a 7/24 taper BT-50 at 6,000 rpm. Z-axis travel is 900 mm (35.4 in), with 1,200 mm (47.2 in) as an option. The DCM35 is for parts that are simply too wide for anything smaller: turbine casing halves, large press platens, structural frames. Beyond this width You Ji's catalogue moves to the MCR series, whose MCR40 spans 4,000 mm (157.5 in) and adds a W-axis cross rail.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 3,500 mm (137.8 in) between columns, the widest opening in the DCM series
- 3,000 mm (118.1 in) wide table in lengths from 4,000 to 6,000 mm (157.5 to 236.2 in)
- Z-axis travel of 900 mm (35.4 in), optionally 1,200 mm (47.2 in)
- Loads up to 22,000 kg (48,501 lb)
Limitations
- Y travel of 3,860 mm (152.0 in) is no longer than on the narrower DCM30
- Spindle speed is 6,000 rpm with no option listed
- Top load of 22,000 kg (48,501 lb) equals the DCM30's, despite the larger table
- Shortest table is 4,000 mm (157.5 in), so there is no compact version

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The distance between columns is 3,500 mm (137.8 in) and the table is 3,000 mm (118.1 in) wide. Y-axis travel is 3,860 mm (152.0 in), which covers the full table width with some travel to spare on each side.
02
Table dimension is 4,000-6,000 x 3,000 mm (157.5-236.2 x 118.1 in), and X-axis travel is 4,200 or 6,200 mm (165.4 or 244.1 in).
03
The catalogue prints 18,000, 20,000 and 22,000 kg (39,683, 44,092 and 48,501 lb) against the table lengths. The DCM30 reaches the same 22,000 kg (48,501 lb), so the DCM35 buys width, not extra weight.
04
A 7/24 taper BT-50 spindle listed at 6,000 rpm. Z-axis travel is 900 mm (35.4 in) as standard, and 1,200 mm (47.2 in) is shown as an option for taller workpieces or longer tools.
