You Ji MCR25 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the You Ji MCR25 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from You Ji or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The You Ji MCR25 is a double column 5-face machining center: with the automatic attachment changer in You Ji's feature list, the ram picks up heads that let it machine the four sides of a part as well as the top in one setting. It is the narrowest MCR, at 2,500 mm (98.4 in) between columns.

Three cross rail arrangements define the variants. W has a movable cross rail driven by a servo motor, A has a movable cross rail driven by a hydraulic motor, and F has a fixed cross rail. On the W and A types the rail travel is the W-axis: 780 mm (30.7 in) on the MCR25, with 1,170 mm (46.1 in) and 1,560 mm (61.4 in) in brackets as the longer choices. This 780 mm (30.7 in) base stroke is unique to the MCR25; every larger size starts higher.

A moving rail matters for 5-face work. Lowering the rail keeps the ram short on low parts, and raising it clears tall ones, so Z-axis travel of 900 mm (35.4 in), or 1,200 mm (47.2 in), is not the only vertical reach.

Tables are 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide and 3,000 to 8,000 mm (118.1 to 315.0 in) long, with X-axis travel of 3,200 to 8,200 mm (126.0 to 322.8 in) and loads of 13,000 to 24,000 kg (28,660 to 52,910 lb). Y-axis travel is 2,900 mm (114.2 in). Spindle speed is 3,000 rpm, with 2,500 rpm in brackets. That is a boring-mill speed, well below the 8,000 rpm of the DCM25 bridge machine that shares these table and Y figures.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 5-face machining with an automatic attachment changer in the maker's feature list
  • Cross rail as W (servo), A (hydraulic) or F (fixed) type
  • Table lengths from 3,000 to 8,000 mm (118.1 to 315.0 in)
  • Loads from 13,000 to 24,000 kg (28,660 to 52,910 lb)
  • Gear coupling and a 4 pull stud type holder system are listed for the attachment interface

Limitations

  • 3,000 rpm spindle (2,500 rpm in brackets) rules out high-speed finishing
  • Base W-axis travel of 780 mm (30.7 in) is the shortest in the MCR series
  • 2,000 mm (78.7 in) table width is the narrowest of the five sizes
  • Spindle taper, power and the attachment list are not in the specification table

Best For

Machine beds, columns and saddles needing five faces in one setup Long weldments up to 8,000 mm (315.0 in) on a 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide table Heavy steel and cast iron at low spindle speed

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What does 5-face machining mean on the MCR25?

You Ji describes the MCR series as a CNC double column 5-face machining center and lists an automatic attachment changer among its features. With changeable heads on the ram the machine can cut the top and four sides of a workpiece without re-clamping.

02 What are the W, A and F types?

They describe the cross rail. W: movable cross rail driven by a servo motor. A: movable cross rail driven by a hydraulic motor. F: fixed cross rail. The W-axis travel of 780 mm (30.7 in), or 1,170 mm (46.1 in) and 1,560 mm (61.4 in), applies to the W and A types.

03 How large is the MCR25 table?

3,000-8,000 x 2,000 mm (118.1-315.0 x 78.7 in). X-axis travel is 3,200-8,200 mm (126.0-322.8 in) and Y-axis travel 2,900 mm (114.2 in). The distance between columns is 2,500 mm (98.4 in).

04 What is the spindle speed?

The table prints 3,000 (2,500) rpm, meaning 3,000 rpm with 2,500 rpm as the bracketed alternative. Z-axis travel is given the same way: 900 mm (35.4 in), with 1,200 mm (47.2 in) in brackets.
