Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the You Ji MCR35 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from You Ji or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The You Ji MCR35 is the first MCR size to reach a ten-metre table. This double column 5-face machining center spans 3,500 mm (137.8 in) between columns, and its 3,000 mm (118.1 in) wide table comes in lengths from 5,000 to 10,000 mm (196.9 to 393.7 in).

X-axis travel follows at 5,200 to 10,200 mm (204.7 to 401.6 in). Length on this scale changes how the machine is used. Two or three workpieces can be set up along the table, and the machine cuts one while the crane changes another, so long tables are often bought for pendulum loading as much as for long parts.

Loads are 20,000 to 25,000 kg (44,092 to 55,115 lb). Spread over a table of this area that is a moderate figure. It suits fabricated structures and frames, which are large but hollow, better than solid blocks.

Across the table, Y-axis travel is 3,860 mm (152.0 in), unchanged from the MCR30 although the columns stand further apart. Vertical reach combines 900 mm (35.4 in) of Z, or 1,200 mm (47.2 in), with a W-axis of 1,170 mm (46.1 in), 1,560 mm (61.4 in) or 1,950 mm (76.8 in) on the W and A cross rail types. The spindle runs at 3,000 rpm, or 2,500 rpm. Heads are exchanged by the automatic attachment changer.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Table lengths up to 10,000 mm (393.7 in), with X travel to 10,200 mm (401.6 in)
  • 3,000 mm (118.1 in) table width inside 3,500 mm (137.8 in) of column spacing
  • Load capacity of 20,000 to 25,000 kg (44,092 to 55,115 lb)
  • W-axis cross rail travel up to 1,950 mm (76.8 in)
  • 5-face capability through the automatic attachment changer

Limitations

  • Y-axis travel of 3,860 mm (152.0 in) does not increase over the MCR30
  • 25,000 kg (55,115 lb) is modest for a 3,000 mm (118.1 in) wide, ten-metre table
  • Spindle speed is limited to 3,000 rpm
  • Smallest table is 5,000 mm (196.9 in) long

Best For

Long frames, beams and machine beds up to 10,000 mm (393.7 in) Pendulum setups with several parts along the table Fabricated structures needing side-face machining in one clamping

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How long can the MCR35 table be?

The table dimension is 5,000-10,000 x 3,000 mm (196.9-393.7 x 118.1 in), and the X-axis travel is 5,200-10,200 mm (204.7-401.6 in).

02 What is the distance between columns?

3,500 mm (137.8 in). The Y-axis travel is 3,860 mm (152.0 in), so the ram covers the 3,000 mm (118.1 in) table width with some extra stroke to each side.

03 What load can the MCR35 carry?

Maximum loading weight is listed as 20,000-25,000 kg (44,092-55,115 lb). The range goes with the table lengths; confirm the rating for the length you need.

04 What vertical travel is available?

Z-axis travel is 900 mm (35.4 in), with 1,200 mm (47.2 in) in brackets. On the W and A types the cross rail adds a W-axis travel of 1,170 mm (46.1 in), with 1,560 mm (61.4 in) and 1,950 mm (76.8 in) as the bracketed strokes. The F type has a fixed cross rail.

05 When is the MCR40 the better fit?

When the part is wider or the Y reach is short. The MCR40 has 4,000 mm (157.5 in) between columns, a 3,500 mm (137.8 in) wide table and 5,260 mm (207.1 in) of Y-axis travel, with tables to 12,000 mm (472.4 in).
