You Ji DCM25 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the You Ji DCM25 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from You Ji or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

With 2,500 mm (98.4 in) between columns and a table 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide, the You Ji DCM25 is the mid-size bridge type machining center of the DCM series and the one with the widest choice of lengths. Tables run from 3,000 to 6,000 mm (118.1 to 236.2 in), and X-axis travel is listed as 3,200 or 6,200 mm (126.0 or 244.1 in).

Four load ratings follow the table length: 13,000, 16,000, 18,000 and 20,000 kg (28,660, 35,273, 39,683 and 44,092 lb). So the table gets stronger as it gets longer, and a buyer choosing a length is also choosing a weight class.

Y-axis travel is 2,900 mm (114.2 in). The spindle is a 7/24 taper BT-50 at 8,000 rpm, and 10,000 rpm is an option. That makes the DCM25 the largest DCM size that still has the faster spindle, since the DCM30 above it is listed at 6,000 rpm. Large aluminium tooling plates, stamping dies with finished surfaces and long machine beds are natural work.

The standard Z-axis travel of 750 mm (29.5 in) is the limit to watch. On a 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide table it is easy to load a part taller than the Z stroke can serve with a long tool. The 900 mm (35.4 in) option helps. No daylight under the cross beam is printed in the catalogue, nor are motor power or magazine size.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Table lengths from 3,000 to 6,000 mm (118.1 to 236.2 in) on a 2,000 mm (78.7 in) width
  • 2,900 mm (114.2 in) Y travel with 2,500 mm (98.4 in) between columns
  • 8,000 rpm BT-50 spindle; 10,000 rpm optional
  • Load ratings up to 20,000 kg (44,092 lb)

Limitations

  • Standard Z-axis travel is 750 mm (29.5 in)
  • The table does not print clearance under the bridge
  • X travel is listed at 3,200 and 6,200 mm only, although tables come in a range of lengths
  • Spindle power and tool capacity are not published

Best For

Stamping dies and large mould plates up to 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide Long beds and frames using the 6,200 mm (244.1 in) X travel Parts up to 20,000 kg (44,092 lb) that still need 8,000 rpm finishing

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What table sizes are available on the DCM25?

The table dimension is listed as 3,000-6,000 x 2,000 mm (118.1-236.2 x 78.7 in). X-axis travel is 3,200 or 6,200 mm (126.0 or 244.1 in), and the distance between columns is 2,500 mm (98.4 in).

02 What is the maximum workpiece weight?

Four figures are printed: 13,000, 16,000, 18,000 and 20,000 kg (28,660, 35,273, 39,683 and 44,092 lb). They correspond to the table lengths, so the rating depends on the length ordered.

03 Can the DCM25 be ordered with a faster spindle?

Yes. The standard spindle speed is 8,000 rpm and the table shows 10,000 rpm as an option. The taper is 7/24 taper BT-50 in both cases.

04 Why choose the DCM25 over the DCM30?

Speed. The DCM30 spans 3,000 mm (118.1 in) between columns and has 3,860 mm (152.0 in) of Y, but its spindle is listed at 6,000 rpm. If the parts fit a 2,000 mm (78.7 in) wide table, the DCM25 gives 8,000 rpm or the 10,000 rpm option.
