Overview
At the top of the VBT series, the Vision Wide VBT-130-2530 takes 40,000 kg on its table as standard and 45,000 kg as an option. The table is 2,500 x 3,000 mm (98.4 x 118.1 in), and X travel is 4,500 mm, or 5,000 mm.
Vision Wide says its large boring mills are designed for large workpieces with heavy load ability, and that the large worktable serves energy and petroleum, shipbuilding, large structural parts, construction machinery and diesel engine bodies. This model is the one those words fit most literally. Its travels describe a block of space about five metres wide, three and a half high with the optional Y, and two and a half deep with the optional Z.
Read across the series, the step from the VBT-130-2525 is mostly sideways and upward. X gains a metre in both its standard and optional forms, and Y moves to 3,000 mm, or 3,500 mm. Z and the spindle stay the same.
