Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide VBT-110-1618 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Two VBT models share the 1,600 x 1,800 mm (63.0 x 70.9 in) table, and the Vision Wide VBT-110-1618 is the lighter-spindled, faster one. It lists 3,500 rpm, 18.5 / 22 kW (24.8 / 29.5 hp) and 972 / 1,155 Nm (717 / 852 lb-ft), with a W axis of 550 mm (21.7 in).
The other is the VBT-130-1618: 3,000 rpm, 22 / 30 kW (29.5 / 40.2 hp), 1,444 / 1,970 Nm (1,065 / 1,453 lb-ft) and a 700 mm (27.6 in) W axis, with optional Y and Z strokes that this model does not have.
Both carry 15,000 kg, or 20,000 kg (44,092 lb) as an option. So the choice is about the cut, not the part. If the work is mostly boring to size, drilling and light milling in cast iron or aluminum, the 110 spindle does it with a higher top speed. If it includes heavy face milling in steel, the 130 is the one to quote.
On this model Y travel is 2,000 mm (78.7 in) and Z travel 1,500 mm (59.1 in), both without options; X is 2,000 mm, or 2,500 mm. The structure is the VBT's Y-axis box way design. The VBH-110-1618 has the same table of figures on a box in box frame.
