Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Pinnacle DV1732 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Pinnacle DV1732 is the mid-length, mid-width DV: 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of X, 1,700 mm (66.9 in) of Y and a 3,200 x 1,500 mm (126.0 x 59.1 in) table. Its table rating of 10,000 kg/m2 sits between the 8,000 kg/m2 of the DV1722 and the 12,000 kg/m2 of the DV1742.
That makes it a general-purpose machine for large parts. The table is a little over twice as long as it is wide, enough for a big mould base or for two medium jobs set side by side along X, and the 1,900 mm (74.8 in) column spacing leaves clearance beside the table.
Rapids are 16/16/20 m/min. Compared with the DV1432, which shares the X travel and is listed at 16/20/20 m/min, only the Y rapid is lower. Weight is 22,500 kg (49,603 lb) against 17,000 kg (37,478 lb) for the DV1432.
The spindle nose works from 110~1,010 mm (4.3~39.8 in) above the table across 900 mm (35.4 in) of Z. Cutting is done by the ISO50 gear-driven spindle with a 15/18.5 kW (20.1/24.8 hp) motor and a Ø100 mm (Ø3.9 in) spindle inner diameter, 8,000 rpm in the table. The linear ways on Z are laid out on the sides of the box-type spindle head, which Pinnacle says upgrades the head's rigidity. Allow 8,130 x 5,300 mm (320.1 x 208.7 in) of floor and 50 kVA.
