How much does the Juaristi MP10-RAM cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Juaristi MP10-RAM that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At the top of Juaristi's hydrostatic floor type boring centers, the MP10-RAM lists 19,000-23,000 Nm (14,014-16,965 lb-ft) of spindle torque, 100/125 kW of spindle power and a RAM of 580 x 650 mm (22.8 x 25.6 in). Vertical travel starts at 4,000 mm and extends in 500 mm steps to 10,000 mm.
The torque figure stands apart from the rest of the range. The MP9-RAM, one size down, lists 5,000-10,300 Nm, so the lower value here is nearly double that machine's upper value. Speed drops accordingly to 2,000–1,600 min-1, and the gearbox has 2-3 ranges. Boring bars are 205-225-260 mm in diameter, with W travel of 1,000-1,400-1,600 mm.
Much of Juaristi's series description is really a description of this model. The text quotes travels of 40,000 – 10,000 – 3,400 mm for X, Y and Z+W, spindle torque of more than 20,000 Nm and a 100 kW main motor; the 10,000 mm and the torque match only the MP10-RAM column. The Z+W figure is harder to place, since the table's largest Z of 2,000 mm and largest W of 1,600 mm come to more, so the reach of a given configuration needs to be confirmed.
X is 4,000 mm plus N x 2,000 mm and rapid feeds are 20-20-20-15 m/min. Everything about a machine of this size, from foundation to rotary tables of up to 180 tonne capacity, is project work, and the table is a starting point for that conversation.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Spindle torque of 19,000-23,000 Nm with 100/125 kW
- Largest RAM in the range at 580 x 650 mm, stroke 1,600-2,000 mm
- Boring bars up to 260 mm with W travel up to 1,600 mm
- Vertical travel from 4,000 mm to 10,000 mm
- Hydrostatic guiding on all axes and triple RAM compensation
Limitations
- Spindle speed of 2,000–1,600 min-1 is the lowest in the MP-RAM table
- Smallest column is already 4,000 mm of Y, so it is oversized for mid-size parts
- Rapid feeds of 20-20-20-15 m/min
- Combinations of bar, W travel and gear ranges are not defined in the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table lists spindle torque of 19,000-23,000 Nm (14,014-16,965 lb-ft) and spindle power of 100/125 kW. Juaristi's feature list speaks of more than 20,000 Nm from oversized gears and a cooled gearbox, with 2-3 ranges on this model.
02
X is 4,000 mm plus N x 2,000 mm. Y is 4,000 mm plus N x 500 mm, up to 10,000 mm. The RAM stroke (Z) is 1,600-2,000 mm (63.0-78.7 in) and the boring bar travel (W) 1,000-1,400-1,600 mm.
03
The listed diameters are 205-225-260 mm (8.1-8.9-10.2 in). Three W travels, 1,000-1,400-1,600 mm, are printed alongside, which suggests one per bar, but the table does not say so. Spindle speed is 2,000–1,600 min-1.
04
It is a different class of spindle. The MP9-RAM lists 71/100 kW and 5,000-10,300 Nm with a 520 x 580 mm RAM and Y up to 8,000 mm. The MP10-RAM lists 100/125 kW and 19,000-23,000 Nm with a 580 x 650 mm RAM and Y up to 10,000 mm, at a lower speed of 2,000–1,600 min-1.
