Overview
On the Hedelius ACURA 65 EL the automation arrives from the left. A pneumatically activated stainless steel loading door sits in the left wall of the work area, the opening is approx. 900 mm high, and a prepared interface lets a pallet handling system or a robot from any supplier serve the machine. The operator's door at the front stays fully accessible for making single parts by hand.
Underneath is the mid-size ACURA with its T-slot table. X travel is 700 mm (27.6 in), Z is 600 mm (23.6 in) and Y is 650 / 465 mm (horizontal / vertical). The table measures Ø 650 x 540 mm, carries 500 kg (1,102 lb) and has five 14 mm T-slots, so a fixture can still be bolted down directly when no pallet system is in use. A 4-fold rotary transfer for pneumatics in the table activates zero point clamping elements or power clamps.
Robot loading of raw parts and pallet loading put different demands on the table drive, and the data sheet offers two rotation speeds, 0 – 20 or 0 – 50 min-1. The swivel range is +30° to -115° with 2,040 Nm of swivel torque. Keep an eye on the Ø 700 mm interference circle when choosing the pallet size.
