Overview
The Han's Laser MPS-6025D is the 6,000 × 2,500 mm (236.2 × 98.4 in) machine of the MPS-D laser cutting series. The extra half metre of width over the MPS-6020D brings a much stronger table, 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) against 1,800 kg (3,968 lb), and a heavier machine at approx. 7.5 T.
Width is the scarce dimension in plate cutting. Steel plate is commonly rolled 2,500 mm wide, and a shop with a 2,000 mm bed has to buy narrower stock or slit it first. A bed that takes the full width removes that step.
The jump in table load says something about intent. Han's Laser has not simply stretched the smaller frame sideways. A table rated two-thirds higher than the narrower model's is meant to hold thicker material across the whole bed.
On the motion side nothing changes. Positioning speed is up to 100 m/min, acceleration 1.0 g, positioning accuracy ±0.05 mm/m and repositioning accuracy ±0.03 mm. The gantry is driven from both sides by servo motors with precision reducers and rack and pinion.
Floor space is 8,500 × 3,500 × 2,000 mm (334.6 × 137.8 × 78.7 in). Before ordering, get three things the data sheet leaves out: the laser power offered, the Z-axis travel, and the electrical connection. Without the first, the table load cannot be related to a plate thickness.
