How much does the Han's Laser MPS-3015D cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Han's Laser MPS-3015D that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Han's Laser MPS-3015D is the 3,000 × 1,500 mm (118.1 × 59.1 in) model of the MPS-D series of gantry laser cutting machines for sheet metal. It is the entry size of the series and also its quickest, with a maximum positioning speed of 120 m/min and 1.2 g of acceleration. The MPS-4020D is listed at 100 m/min and 1.0 g, and so are the sizes above it.
The MPS-D sits below Han's Laser's HF Expert line in pace. The G3015HF, with the same sheet format, is listed at 200 m/min and 2.8 G. What the MPS-3015D offers in return is a much smaller installation: 5,000 × 2,300 × 2,000 mm (196.9 × 90.6 × 78.7 in) overall and a machine weight of approx. 4.0 T. Read those two figures together. A footprint that short leaves no room for a second table in line, so ask how sheets are loaded and unloaded on the configuration you are quoted.
The drive is a dual servo arrangement with precision reducers and rack and pinion on a welded steel frame with a honeycomb beam. Positioning accuracy is ±0.05 mm/m and repositioning accuracy ±0.03 mm. The worktable carries 700 kg (1,543 lb). Assist gas can be switched between high and low pressure, which is what lets one machine cut both with oxygen and with nitrogen.
The data sheet gives no laser power or laser type for the series, no Z travel and no electrical supply. Those have to be asked for.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Fastest of the MPS-D series: 120 m/min maximum positioning speed and 1.2 g acceleration
- Compact at 5,000 × 2,300 × 2,000 mm (196.9 × 90.6 × 78.7 in) and approx. 4.0 T
- Dual servo drive with precision reducers and rack & pinion
- Switchable high/low-pressure assist gas
Limitations
- Worktable load is 700 kg (1,543 lb), the lowest in the series
- Positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm/m is coarser than the ±0.03 mm/m of the G3015HF
- No laser power, Z travel or power supply is published in the table

Both cut 3,000 × 1,500 mm sheet. The G3015HF is the faster and more accurate machine, at 200 m/min, 2.8 G and ±0.03 mm/m, and it is much longer at 961.5 × 304 × 216 cm (378.5 × 119.7 × 85.0 in). The MPS-3015D is 5,000 mm long and listed at 120 m/min and 1.2 g.
03
Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, brass, red copper, pickled sheet, galvanized sheet, silicon steel sheet, electrolytic sheet, titanium alloy, manganese alloy and other metal materials. The table does not say what thickness each can be cut to, since it states no laser power.
