How much does the Han's Laser W3122D cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Han's Laser W3122D that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Han's Laser W3122D is the middle size of the W series, Han's Laser's 3D five-axis laser cutting machines for hot-formed automotive parts. It differs from the smallest model mainly in one direction. X travel is 3,100 mm (122.0 in), barely more than the W3015D, but Y travel grows to 2,200 mm (86.6 in).
That extra depth is what a wide pressing needs. A door ring or a floor cross-member in its fixture takes up far more of the Y axis than a single pillar, and a fixture that carries a left-hand and a right-hand part side by side needs it too. To hold those heavier fixtures the table load goes up to 450 kg (992 lb).
The cutting head is common to the series. It turns n × 360 degree about C and ±135 degree about A at up to 90 r/min, with ±0.015 degree positioning accuracy. Z travel is 650 mm (25.6 in), which sets the tallest part and fixture stack the head can clear. Linear positioning accuracy is ±0.04 mm, repeat positioning ±0.03 mm, speed 100 m/min and acceleration 10 m/s².
Han's Laser describes the laser as maintenance-free in its optical path and needing no consumable gas, with a conversion efficiency of 35%-40%; it does not publish the power. The machine weighs 14,000 kg (30,864 lb) and takes up 8,000 × 9,000 × 3,700 mm (315.0 × 354.3 × 145.7 in). Video monitoring is built in, useful on an enclosed machine where the operator cannot see the cut directly.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Y travel of 2,200 mm (86.6 in), against 1,500 mm (59.1 in) on the W3015D
- Table load of 450 kg (992 lb) for larger fixtures
- X/Y/Z positioning accuracy of ±0.04 mm with ±0.03 mm repeat positioning
- Built-in machine video monitoring inside the enclosure
Limitations
- X travel of 3,100 mm (122.0 in) is only slightly longer than the smallest model's
- At 14,000 kg (30,864 lb) and 9,000 mm wide it needs a large cell
- Laser power is not stated
- A-axis tilt is limited to ±135 degree

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Mostly in depth and load. The W3122D has 3,100 mm (122.0 in) of X travel and 2,200 mm (86.6 in) of Y travel, with a 450 kg (992 lb) table load. The W3015D has 3,000 mm (118.1 in) and 1,500 mm (59.1 in) with 350 kg (772 lb). Z travel, head angles, speeds and accuracy are the same.
02
A dual-station rotary exchange worktable. Han's Laser gives a single rotation cycle of ≤2.5s, a positioning accuracy of ≤±15 arcsec and a repeat positioning accuracy of ≤±10 arcsec for it. The maximum table load is 450 kg (992 lb).
03
X, Y and Z position at up to 100 m/min with a maximum acceleration of 10 m/s². The C and A axes position at up to 90 r/min.
04
Machine weight is 14,000 kg (30,864 lb). Overall dimensions are 8,000 × 9,000 × 3,700 mm (315.0 × 354.3 × 145.7 in) as length, width and height.
