Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Durma HD-TC 80220 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Stock longer than the usual six metres is the reason for the Durma HD-TC 80220. This tube and profile laser accepts material up to 8,500 mm (334.6 in) long, with the section capacity of the HD-TC 60220: Ø220 mm (8.7 in) round, 160 x 160 mm (6.3 x 6.3 in) square and 200 x 100 mm (7.9 x 3.9 in) rectangular.
Why buy the longer bed? Some mills supply tube in longer lengths, and cutting from them leaves fewer bar ends per tonne. Long finished parts, such as rails and columns, also need the travel. To match the heavier bundles the loader is rated for 4,000 kg (8,818 lb). The rest of the capacity table is unchanged: 52 kg/m, 360 kg (794 lb) per workpiece and a 160 (140 optional) mm remainder.
One row deserves attention. Unloading length is printed as Max. 4,500 / Max. 6,000 mm, the same as on the shorter machine, so a finished part cannot use the whole material length. Parts beyond that length need to be discussed with Durma before ordering.
Speeds and accuracy are 60 m/min in X and Y, 30 m/min in Z, 840 °/s on the A axis, ±0.2 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.05 mm positioning variation. Material under 3,000 mm (118.1 in) is not loaded automatically. The chuck centre is 1,150 mm (45.3 in) high. Seam detection, laser-sensor centering, spatter protection and 3D bevel cutting are options across the series.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Takes material up to 8,500 mm (334.6 in) long
- Bundle weight up to 4,000 kg (8,818 lb)
- Ø220 mm (8.7 in) round and 160 x 160 mm (6.3 x 6.3 in) square capacity
- A axis at 840 °/s and 60 m/min on X and Y, as on the shorter models
- Two-direction automatic unloading with sorting, standard at 220 mm diameter
Limitations
- Unloading length is Max. 4,500 / Max. 6,000 mm, shorter than the material length
- Workpiece weight stays at 360 kg (794 lb) despite the longer bed
- Tube below Ø20 can only be loaded manually
- No laser power is stated in the brochure table

Frequently Asked Questions

8,500 mm (334.6 in). The minimum material length for automatic loading is 3,000 mm (118.1 in). Unloading length is listed as Max. 4,500 / Max. 6,000 mm, so check the longest finished part you need against that row.
02
In material length and bundle weight. The HD-TC 60220 takes 6,500 mm (255.9 in) and a 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) bundle; the HD-TC 80220 takes 8,500 mm (334.6 in) and 4,000 kg (8,818 lb). Section sizes, weights per metre, speeds and accuracy are identical in the two tables.
03
Round tube up to Ø220 mm (8.7 in), square 160 x 160 mm (6.3 x 6.3 in) and rectangular 200 x 100 mm (7.9 x 3.9 in). The minimum pipe diameter is printed as Ø20 (Ø12 optional) mm. Maximum material weight is 52 kg/m.
04
Yes: L, U and H profiles, up to 100 mm as standard with a bigger size optional. Durma notes that open-section profiles can only be loaded manually or with a semi-automatic chain loading system, and that H-profile cutting needs a slim-type head.
