Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Campro PV-4216 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Campro PV-4216 pairs the longest table of the narrow PV double column machines with their original bridge. X travel is 4,200 mm (165.3 in); Y travel is 1,600 mm (62.9 in) and Z is 750 mm (29.5 in), exactly as on the PV-2216.
Long and narrow is a specific kind of work. The table is 4,300 × 1,450 mm (169.2 in x 57 in), about three times as long as it is wide, and holds 10,000 kg (22,046 lb). That suits beams, press plates, linear-guide rails, extrusion dies and anything else measured in metres one way and not the other. The spindle passes between columns 1,750 mm (68.8 in) apart.
What makes the model attractive is that length has not slowed it. Rapid feedrate is 20 m/min in X and Y and 16 m/min in Z, and cutting feed runs to 10,000 mm/min. A buyer who steps across to the PV-4221 for more Y gets 12 / 15 / 15 m/min and a cutting feed of 1~8,000 mm/min. The PV-4216 weighs 30,000 kg (66,138 lb); the PV-4221 weighs 38,000 kg (83,775 lb).
Campro lists the same standard items as on the rest of the 16 family: a 25 HP 6,000 rpm gear-head spindle, a 32-tool chain type ATC, a dual built-in chip screw system with conveyor, and heavy duty roller type linear guideways on X and Y. Tool limits are 20 kg (44 lb), 350 mm (13.7 in) and Ø125 mm (Ø4.9 in).
The site requirement is dominated by table travel. Allow 10,800 × 4,800 mm (425 in x 188 in), a height of 3,950 mm (155 in), 40 kVA and air at 6~8 kg/cm².

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 4,200 mm (165.3 in) of X travel at a 20 m/min rapid
- 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) table load on a 4,300 × 1,450 mm (169.2 in x 57 in) table
- At 30,000 kg (66,138 lb), lighter than the PV-4221 at 38,000 kg (83,775 lb)
- Standard gear-head spindle: 6,000 rpm, 15 / 18.5 kW (25 HP), No.50 taper
- Cutting feedrate up to 10,000 mm/min (393.7 in/min)
Limitations
- Y travel of 1,600 mm (62.9 in) and 1,750 mm (68.8 in) between columns restrict part width
- Floor plan is 10,800 × 4,800 mm (425 in x 188 in)
- Z travel is 750 mm (29.5 in) with no optional longer stroke listed
- One 15 / 18.5 kW (25 HP) spindle serves a 4,300 mm table, so large surfaces take time

Frequently Asked Questions
01
X travel is 4,200 mm (165.3 in) over a table 4,300 × 1,450 mm (169.2 in x 57 in). Y travel is 1,600 mm (62.9 in) and Z travel 750 mm (29.5 in). The table carries up to 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) and has eight T-slots 22 mm wide.
02
If the parts fit, it is quicker and lighter. The PV-4216 rapids at 20 / 20 / 16 m/min and weighs 30,000 kg (66,138 lb). The PV-4221 rapids at 12 / 15 / 15 m/min and weighs 38,000 kg (83,775 lb), in exchange for 2,100 mm (82.6 in) of Y travel. Both tables are rated at 10,000 kg (22,046 lb).
03
BT-50 tools in a 32-tool chain type magazine, with 40 or 60 pockets optional. The limits are Ø125 mm (Ø4.9 in) diameter, Ø215 mm (Ø8.4 in) with adjacent pockets empty, 350 mm (13.7 in) length and 20 kg (44 lb) weight.

Campro describes a single unit (monobloc) oversized bridge made as a one piece box type beam, with a monoblock column and cast base joined on scraped contact surfaces. X and Y use heavy duty roller type linear guideways and the Z ram runs on box guideways.
