Overview

The Accuway UT-300SM puts driven tools between two spindles. A BMT-65 turret with 12 stations and servo mechanical drive runs rotary tools at 4,000 rpm, the main spindle holds the first side, and an A2-5 second spindle on a 700 mm (27.6 in) B axis takes over for the second.

Note the tooling row. Other live-tool UT-300 models give BMT/VDI; this page states BMT-65 specifically, which fixes the holder interface a shop has to buy into. Holders for 0 degree and 90 degree rotary tools are optional accessories marked for the UT-300SM.

Capacity sits a little below the turning-only UT-300S. Turning diameter is 480 mm (18.9 in) at SP1 and 375 mm (14.8 in) at SP2, and turning length is 540 mm (21.3 in) or 470 mm (18.5 in) by spindle column. X travel is 280 mm (11.0 in).
