Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Pinnacle L210C that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Bar capacity is the reason to choose the Pinnacle L210C: Ø77 mm (Ø3.0 in), through an Ø88 mm (Ø3.5 in) spindle bore on an A2-8 nose. The L210A and L210B stop at Ø65 mm (Ø2.6 in).
The bigger spindle comes with a bigger motor, 15 / 18.5 kW (20.1 / 24.8 hp), and a lower speed range of 35 - 3,500 rpm. For large-diameter steel that is the right direction: surface speed at big diameters does not need high rpm, and the extra power goes into depth of cut. Small aluminium parts are better served by the 4,500 rpm L210A.
The power has a consequence for the building. Pinnacle lists a 30 kVA requirement for the L210C against 20 kVA for the L210A. Weight is 4,200 kg (9,259 lb) in the same 2.7 x 1.6 x 1.8 m outline.
The chuck is 10 in and the working envelope is that of the whole L210 family: Ø440 mm (Ø17.3 in) maximum turning diameter, 610 mm (24.0 in) turning length, 210 mm (8.3 in) of X. Rapids are 20 / 24 m/min and cutting feed runs 0.016 ~ 5,000 mm/min. The slant bed carries a rigid 10-station turret, and the base is rib reinforced Meehanite cast iron.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Ø77 mm (Ø3.0 in) bar capacity through an Ø88 mm (Ø3.5 in) bore
- 15 / 18.5 kW (20.1 / 24.8 hp) spindle motor on an A2-8 nose
- Same 2.7 x 1.6 x 1.8 m outline as the smaller-spindle L210A
- Rapids of 20 / 24 m/min on box ways
Limitations
- Top speed is 3,500 rpm, against 4,500 rpm on the L210A
- Needs a 30 kVA supply, where the L210A runs on 20 kVA
- 10 in chuck only; the 12 in chuck is the L210D
- Turning length is 610 mm (24.0 in), with no longer bed in the table
