Overview

The Accuway UT-200S replaces the tailstock of the UT-200 with a second spindle. Accuway files it under single turret, two spindle lathes: one turret works at the main spindle, the part is handed across, and the same turret finishes the back.

The second spindle has an A2-5 nose, a 44 mm (1.7 in) bar capacity and a 5.5/7.5 kW (7.4/10.1 hp) motor. It moves on an axis the table calls B, with 585 mm (23.0 in) of travel at 20 m/min (787 in/min), which is how it reaches the main chuck for the transfer. Its chuck is 6 in at 6,000 rpm in the first two columns of the table and 8 in at 5,000 rpm in the last two.
