Accuway UT-300

The Accuway UT-300 is a two-axis slant-bed turning center for chuck and shaft work up to 500 mm (19.7 in) in diameter. Z travel is 750 mm (29.5 in), X travel is 300 mm (11.8 in), and box guideways carry a 12-station BOT turret whose drive the table gives as Hydraulic/Servo.

What separates it from the smaller UT-200 is the spindle range. The UT-200 stops at a 300 mm (11.8 in) turning diameter; the UT-300 begins where that machine's largest nose ends. Its four spindle columns read A2-8 with a 10 in chuck and 3,500 rpm, A2-8 with a 12 in chuck and 2,700 rpm, then two A2-11 columns with 15 in chucks at 2,500 rpm and 2,000 rpm. Bar capacity climbs with them from 75 mm (3.0 in) to 116.5 mm (4.6 in). The motor row gives 15/18.5 kW (20.1/24.8 hp), with 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp) printed in brackets.

Picking an A2-11 column costs length. Maximum turning length is 680 mm (26.8 in) with the A2-8 noses and 600 mm (23.6 in) with A2-11. A tailstock is part of the table: 540 mm (21.3 in) of body travel and an MT#5 quill 110 mm (4.3 in) in diameter.

There are no rotary tools here. The UT-300M on the same page has them and gives up turning diameter in exchange. The UT-300 weighs 5,500 kg (12,125 lb). Bar feeder, parts catcher and a gantry loader system all sit on the optional list, so any automation has to be specified with the order.
