Accuway UT-100EY

The Accuway UT-100EY is the stand-alone Y-axis lathe of the UT-100 group. Its table matches the lathe part of the UT-100Y row for row, and leaves out the loader.

That means ±25 mm (±1.0 in) of Y travel, 80 mm (3.1 in) of X and 220 mm (8.7 in) of Z, with rotary tools at 6,000 rpm on a 3.7/5.5 kW (5.0/7.4 hp) driver. Turning diameter is 110 mm (4.3 in) and turning length 170 mm (6.7 in). The spindle is the A2-5 unit with a 6 in chuck, a 30 mm (1.2 in) bar capacity, 6,000 rpm and 5.5/7.5 kW (7.4/10.1 hp).

Oddly, the listed size and weight are also identical to the loader machine: 2.4 x 2 x 2.53 m (94.5 x 78.7 x 99.6 in) and 2,300 kg (5,071 lb). A lathe without a gantry would be expected to be lower and lighter, as the UT-100E is against the UT-100. The figures may have been carried over from the UT-100Y page, so they should be confirmed before a layout is drawn.

Accuway's page for this model has no standard or optional accessory lists. The turret type rows are not reproduced here either, because the page prints them in each other's places. What can be said is that there are 12 stations taking 25 mm (1.0 in) square and 40 mm (1.6 in) round shanks, that the guideways are box type and that the control is a FANUC 0i-T.
