Overview
Take the loader off the UT-100 and the result is the Accuway UT-100E: a plain, very compact two-axis lathe with a 6 in chuck, 1,800 kg (3,968 lb) in weight and 1.7 x 1.8 x 1.8 m (66.9 x 70.9 x 70.9 in) in size. Accuway lists it with its single-turret, single-spindle lathes.
Without the gantry on top the machine is lower, 1.8 m against 2.2 m for the UT-100, and the way parts arrive changes. The optional accessories here include a bar feeder, a bar feeder interface (7 or 24 pins) and a parts catcher with parts conveyor, none of which appear on the loader models. So the UT-100E is the bar-fed or hand-loaded member of the family. Bar capacity is 30 mm (1.2 in).
