Accurl Smart ECO SE-9030

The Accurl Smart ECO SE-9030 is a large-format fiber laser with a work area of 9,000 mm (354.3 in) by 3,000 mm (118.1 in), the shortest of four standard models in the Smart ECO line. The table is rated at 750 kg/m² and an automatic shuttle table is listed as standard.

Accurl specifies this line differently from its other large machines. Instead of a traverse speed in mm/min it gives an X/Y maximum linkage speed of 80 m/min and a maximum linkage acceleration of 0.8g, and instead of an absolute accuracy it gives ±0.05 mm/m, an error that grows with the distance travelled. Over a 9,000 mm bed that way of stating accuracy is worth discussing with the maker before parts with long tolerances are quoted.

The control is named on the page as the Backoff Control CNC System, operated from two 21.5" multitouch panels. The gantry is a steel crossbeam with an intelligent lubrication system, on linear guides with helical toothed racks driven on both sides.

The thickness table for the Smart ECO starts lower than that of the other XXL line, at 6 kW, where it shows 25 mm (0.98 in) of mild steel and 20 mm (0.79 in) of stainless and aluminium. At 12 kW all three reach 30 mm (1.18 in), and at 30 kW mild steel reaches 50 mm (1.97 in). Sources of up to 60 kW are offered for the series.
