How much does the LVD LaserTWO 3015 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD LaserTWO 3015 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The LVD LaserTWO 3015 is the smaller of two sizes in LVD's entry flatbed fiber laser line, built around a 3,050 x 1,525 mm (120.1 x 60.0 in) sheet and offered with a 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW source. LVD sells it in two forms: a single-table machine with local covers, and a shuttle-table machine with full covers. That choice matters more than the wattage for most buyers, because it decides how the machine is loaded.
Axis travels are 3,100 mm (122.0 in) in X, 1,560 mm (61.4 in) in Y and 80 mm (3.1 in) in Z. The Z stroke is short, which suits flat sheet and little else. Positioning speed is 110 m/min in X-Y and 30 m/min in Z, and LVD states +/- 0.10 mm positioning accuracy with +/- 0.05 mm repeatability. The table carries 900 kg (1,984 lb), and a table change takes 35 sec.
Cutting capacity follows the source. At 3 kW the table lists 15 mm (0.59 in) of mild steel and 12 mm (0.47 in) of stainless steel or aluminium. The 6 kW source takes all three to 25 mm (1.0 in), and 12 kW reaches 30 mm (1.2 in). Copper and brass stay thinner: 6 mm and 5 mm at 3 kW, 15 mm for both at 12 kW. The cutting head is an NC auto-focus unit with a 200 mm focusing lens, capacitive height sensing and crash protection.
In local-cover form the machine is compact for a laser of this sheet size: 5,000 mm long, 2,900 mm wide and 1,780 mm high, at roughly 6,000 kg (13,228 lb). Those dimensions exclude light guards, filter and chiller, so the real floor plan is larger. The LaserTWO 4020 is the step up when sheets exceed this bed, with a 4,050 x 2,035 mm format and a 1,600 kg table load.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Available as a single-table machine with local covers or a shuttle-table machine with full covers, so the loading method can match the workload
- Three source options, 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW, with mild steel capacity of 15 mm, 25 mm and 30 mm respectively
- Local-cover version occupies 5,000 x 2,900 mm (196.9 x 114.2 in) before light guards, filter and chiller
- NC auto-focus cutting head with a 200 mm focusing lens, capacitive height sensing and crash protection
- 110 m/min X-Y positioning speed and a 35 sec. table changeover
Limitations
- Z-axis travel is 80 mm (3.1 in), so the machine is limited to flat sheet
- Positioning accuracy of +/- 0.10 mm and repeatability of +/- 0.05 mm are looser than the +/- 0.050 mm and +/- 0.025 mm LVD lists for the Puma 3015
- Top source is 12 kW; the 20 kW option LVD offers on the Puma 3015 is not listed here
- Published dimensions and the 6,000 kg weight cover the local-cover version only and exclude light guards, filter and chiller

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The maximum sheet is 3,050 x 1,525 mm (120.1 x 60.0 in), with 3,100 mm of X travel and 1,560 mm of Y travel. The table is rated for 900 kg (1,984 lb). For larger sheets LVD lists the LaserTWO 4020 at 4,050 x 2,035 mm (159.4 x 80.1 in).
02
LVD offers two versions. The local-cover machine has a single table and is the simpler of the two. The full-cover machine has integrated shuttle tables, which shorten loading and unloading, and it can be combined with LA load automation. The published dimensions (5,000 x 2,900 x 1,780 mm) are for the local-cover version.
03
It depends on the source. LVD's table gives mild steel at 15 mm with 3 kW, 25 mm with 6 kW and 30 mm with 12 kW. Stainless steel and aluminium are 12 mm, 25 mm and 30 mm at the same three powers. Copper is 6 mm, 8 mm and 15 mm; brass is 5 mm, 8 mm and 15 mm.
04
LVD lists positioning accuracy of +/- 0.10 mm and repetitive accuracy of +/- 0.05 mm. The maker notes that achievable workpiece accuracy depends on the type of workpiece, its pre-treatment and the sheet size, and quotes the figures according to VDI/DGQ 3441.
05
Yes, as an option. LVD lists compressed air cutting for the LaserTWO and describes it as an economical route to low-oxidation cutting. The other listed option is MOVit Load-Assist automation, which transfers unprocessed sheets to a LaserTWO with a shuttle bed.
