Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Yasda YBM 9150V that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
With 1,500 mm (59.1 in) of X travel and 900 mm (35.4 in) of Y, the Yasda YBM 9150V is the large-table member of the vertical jig borer family. Z travel is 450 mm (17.7 in). Yasda's own summary is that the size has been increased while the accuracy of its two smaller jig borers remains the same, and it credits an integrated bridge structure with keeping that accuracy stable over a long period.
Table and travel are the same size here: the table working size is 1,500 x 900 mm (59.1 x 35.4 in). Every point on the table can be reached by the spindle, so a mould base or a large plate can be bored and milled edge to edge. A bridge-type structure is the usual answer for a table this wide, because the moving parts stay supported over the whole travel.
The spindle is not scaled up with the table. The base unit is still 100-24,000 min-1 on MAS BT40, with HSK-A63 as an option. The optional spindle runs 50-10,000 min-1, also on MAS BT40. A buyer expecting a MAS BT50 spindle on a table this size will not find one on the option list; the machine finishes and bores large work with MAS BT40 tools.
The magazine starts at 60 tools, and 100 tools is the option. A 1 axis rotary table of Φ200 mm with 40 kg loading capacity is listed. Neither a pallet changer nor a robot interface appears among the options for this model. The control is a FANUC 31i-B5 Plus and machine height is 3,385 mm (133.3 in).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,500 mm (59.1 in) X and 900 mm (35.4 in) Y travel over a table working size of the same 1,500 x 900 mm
- Integrated bridge structure, which Yasda says maintains stable accuracy over a long period
- 60 tools as standard, 100 tools optional
- 100-24,000 min-1 MAS BT40 spindle, with HSK-A63 or a 50-10,000 min-1 spindle as options
- FANUC 31i-B5 Plus control
Limitations
- No pallet changer or robot interface is listed among the options
- Both spindles use a 40 taper; no MAS BT50 spindle is offered on this model
- Z travel is 450 mm (17.7 in)
- The optional rotary table is Φ200 mm with 40 kg capacity, small for a table of this size

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table working size is 1,500 x 900 mm (59.1 x 35.4 in), matching the X and Y travels of 1,500 mm and 900 mm. Z travel is 450 mm (17.7 in).
02
The base spindle runs 100-24,000 min-1 with a MAS BT40 taper hole. HSK-A63 is an optional taper, and an optional spindle with a range of 50-10,000 min-1 is also listed with MAS BT40.
03
60 tools in the base machine. Tool storage for 100 tools is listed as optional equipment. No larger magazine appears on the option list for this model.
04
The YBM 1218V is larger, with travels of 1,800 mm, 1,200 mm and 600 mm, and it uses a 50-10,000 min-1 MAS BT50 spindle. The YBM 9150V keeps the 100-24,000 min-1 MAS BT40 spindle and has 60 tools as standard, where the YBM 1218V has 32 tools.
