Price estimate
We do not have a price for the You Ji MCR45 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The You Ji MCR45 is the largest double column 5-face machining center in You Ji's catalogue table: 4,500 mm (177.2 in) between columns, a 4,000 mm (157.5 in) wide table, and a load rating of 30,000 to 32,000 kg (66,138 to 70,547 lb).
Weight is its distinguishing number. None of the four smaller sizes passes 28,000 kg (61,728 lb), which is the top figure of the MCR40. The MCR45 starts above that. It is also the only size with a third Z-axis travel: 900 mm (35.4 in), then 1,200 mm (47.2 in) and 1,500 mm (59.1 in) in brackets. A longer ram stroke reaches down into deep pockets and inside open frames where lowering the cross rail is not possible.
The W-axis reflects the same thinking. Base travel on the W and A types is 1,560 mm (61.4 in), which is the optional stroke on smaller models, with 1,690 mm (66.5 in) and 1,950 mm (76.8 in) above it.
Tables are 6,000 to 12,000 mm (236.2 to 472.4 in) long, X-axis travel is 6,200 to 12,200 mm (244.1 to 480.3 in) and Y-axis travel 5,260 mm (207.1 in). With a 4,000 mm (157.5 in) wide table under that Y stroke, overtravel past each table edge is tighter than on the MCR40. The spindle is listed at 3,000 rpm, or 2,500 rpm. You Ji's model key also names one wider column spacing, for which the table has no entry.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 30,000 to 32,000 kg (66,138 to 70,547 lb) load capacity, the highest in the MCR table
- 4,000 mm (157.5 in) wide table in lengths to 12,000 mm (472.4 in)
- Z-axis travel choices of 900, 1,200 and 1,500 mm (35.4, 47.2 and 59.1 in)
- Base W-axis travel of 1,560 mm (61.4 in), extendable to 1,950 mm (76.8 in)
- Automatic attachment changer, gear coupling and 4 pull stud type holder system
Limitations
- Y-axis travel of 5,260 mm (207.1 in) is shared with the narrower MCR40, leaving less overtravel
- Load range is narrow, 30,000 to 32,000 kg (66,138 to 70,547 lb), whatever the table length
- 3,000 rpm maximum spindle speed
- Motor power, spindle taper and foundation data are not published

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Maximum loading weight is 30,000-32,000 kg (66,138-70,547 lb). The table measures 6,000-12,000 x 4,000 mm (236.2-472.4 x 157.5 in).
02
Z-axis travel is 900 mm (35.4 in), with 1,200 mm (47.2 in) and 1,500 mm (59.1 in) in brackets. W-axis travel on the W and A types is 1,560 mm (61.4 in), with 1,690 mm (66.5 in) and 1,950 mm (76.8 in) in brackets.
03
Distance between columns is 4,500 mm (177.2 in), the table is 4,000 mm (157.5 in) wide, and Y-axis travel is 5,260 mm (207.1 in).
04
The MCR40 spans 4,000 mm (157.5 in) with a 3,500 mm (137.8 in) wide table and carries 22,000-28,000 kg (48,501-61,728 lb). X and Y travels match. The MCR45 adds table width, load, the 1,500 mm (59.1 in) Z choice and a longer base W-axis.

Three, as on every MCR: W, a movable cross rail driven by a servo motor; A, a movable cross rail driven by a hydraulic motor; and F, a fixed cross rail. The W-axis travel figures apply to the W and A types.
