Price estimate
We do not have a price for the YCM NSV106A that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The YCM NSV106A is the base model of four NSV106 variants, all built on one frame with 1,020 mm (40.16 in) of X travel and 600 mm (23.62 in) each of Y and Z. This one carries the 18.5 kW (25 HP) IDD spindle at 12,000 rpm and the faster axis set: 48 m/min (1,890 ipm) in X and Y, 32 m/min (1,260 ipm) in Z.
Square Y and Z strokes of 600 mm make the envelope deeper and taller than usual for a one-metre machine. The table, 1,120 x 650 mm (44.09 x 25.59 in), is rated for 700 kg (1,543 lb), a figure YCM ties to the 45 mm guideways on the three axes. Six slide blocks carry the X axis.
Knowing the siblings helps to place it. The NSV106AS takes the same axes to 48 m/min on Z as well, with a 37 kW (50 HP) spindle and a 1,000 kg (2,205 lb) table. The NSV106AM and NSV106AMS are the slower, thermally equipped versions. The NSV106A is the plain production machine of the family: fast axes, standard spindle, lowest table rating.
Tools change in 1.8 sec tool-to-tool. The standard magazine is a 24-tool disk; a 30-tool disk and a 48-tool chain magazine are options. Triple chip augers are standard and a dual-auger layout is the alternative. A 15,000 rpm spindle is the only spindle option in the table, and the machine weighs 7,000 kg (15,432 lb).
