How much does the YCM DCV6030B-5AX cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the YCM DCV6030B-5AX that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The YCM DCV6030B-5AX is the largest 5-axis machine in YCM's list. It has 6,200 mm of X travel, 3,500 mm of Y and 1,016 mm of Z, a table of 6,000 x 2,400 mm that carries 25,000 kg, and a fork-type head with B and C axes around an HSK A100 spindle.
A purchase at this scale is a project. The machine weighs 64,000 kg before a workpiece is loaded, the moving table needs roughly twice its own length of floor, and the foundation, crane coverage and chip handling have to be planned around it. In return a shop gains the ability to machine parts that otherwise go to a handful of specialist subcontractors: wind turbine hubs and bedplates, large ship components, press crowns, and full-size molds for boat hulls and vehicle bodies.
Five-axis capability matters more as parts grow, because re-clamping a twenty-tonne part to reach another face costs a shift and risks the alignment. The head covers ±110° in B and ±360° in C on direct drive motors with HEIDENHAIN encoders, and both axes are clamped hydraulically by disc brakes for heavy positioned cuts.
The spindle delivers 46 kW (63 HP) at up to 10,000 rpm. X rapid is 12 m/min, Y is 20 m/min and Z is 15 m/min, with X cutting feed of 1~12,000 mm/min. The frame is a MEEHANITE casting on widened column bases, with gearbox drives and roller type guideways on the linear axes. Tools weigh up to 13 kg, in a 40, 60 or 120-tool magazine.
