Vision Wide XMF-57 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Vision Wide XMF-57 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Vision Wide or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The widest machine in Vision Wide's moving column family is the XMF-57. Y travel is 5,700 mm (224.4 in) and the maximum workpiece width is 6,100 mm (240.2 in). Z travel is 2,500 mm (98.4 in), or 3,000 mm (118.1 in), and X is built to order within 8,200(+1m)~60,200 mm.

At full specification that is a working space about six metres wide, three and a half high under the spindle nose, and up to sixty long. Vision Wide's own phrase for it is super large XYZ axis machining space.

A cross beam spanning nearly six metres of travel is the critical part of such a machine. The standard list includes a Y axis ball screw supporting device, which keeps the long screw from sagging, and scales on X, dual, and on Z. The Y axis linear scale is optional. On the widest model it is the option most worth taking, since Y is here the longest unscaled axis in the family.

The ram is 680 x 680 mm (26.8 x 26.8 in). Rapid traverse is 20/20/12 m/min, the same figures as on the narrowest XM, and cutting feed is 1-10,000 mm/min. Spindle power is 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp), with a 4,000 rpm gear spindle as standard. Table load is 5,000 kg/m2.

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the widest Vision Wide moving column machine?

The XMF-57, with 5,700 mm (224.4 in) of Y travel and a maximum workpiece width of 6,100 mm (240.2 in). Its X travel is built to length like the rest of the family.

02 What are the Z travel and clearance of the XMF-57?

Z is 2,500/3,000 mm (98.4/118.1 in) (Opt.). Spindle nose to table distance is 500~3,000 mm (19.7~118.1 in) as standard and 500~3,500 mm (19.7~137.8 in) with the longer Z.

03 Does the XMF-57 have linear scales?

X axis dual linear scale and Z axis linear scale are standard. A Y axis linear scale is optional. A Y axis ball screw supporting device is standard.

04 How fast is the XMF-57?

Rapid traverse is 20/20/12 m/min and cutting feed is 1-10,000 mm/min, the same as the other moving column models.
