Price estimate
We do not have a price for the OPS Ingersoll HIGH SPEED EAGLE V9 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The OPS Ingersoll HIGH SPEED EAGLE V9 is a gantry-type high-speed milling machine with 800 mm (31.5 in) of X, 600 mm (23.6 in) of Y and 500 mm (19.7 in) of Z and a table rated up to 2,000 kg (4,409 lb). It weighs 11,500 kg (25,353 lb).
What separates it from the smaller frames is the third spindle. Beside HSK E40 at up to 42,000 rpm and HSK E50 at up to 36,000 rpm, the brochure lists HSK A63 in versions of 18,000, 20,000 or 24,000 rpm, and spindle power in three steps to 25 kW (33.5 hp). The maker also mentions high-torque spindles of up to 120 Nm for steel and drilling. With HSK A63 the machine stops being purely a finishing mill and can rough a mould insert before finishing it in the same setup.
Tool capacity follows the spindle: 88 positions with HSK E40, 72 with HSK E50 and 48 with HSK A63. For production use there is an external tool changer with 30 positions inside the machine and 181 outside. The frame is a gantry design with dual drives on a polymer concrete bed, and the axes reach 30 m/min with 15 m/s² of acceleration.
The 5-axis option is a swivel table for workpieces up to 500 kg (1,102 lb), Ø 600 mm and 550 mm high. B swings +140° / -60° with either gear or torque drive, and the torque C-axis turns at 100 rpm. The maker gives the swivel angle as up to 200° and places the swivel axis low and central to use the work space. Height is 2,850 mm (112.2 in). The brochure and the product page print different footprints for this model, so take floor dimensions from the floor plan.

Strengths
- Three spindle interfaces (HSK E40, HSK E50, HSK A63) and spindle power up to 25 kW (33.5 hp)
- Table load up to 2,000 kg (4,409 lb), four times the HIGH SPEED EAGLE V5 rating
- Up to 88 tool positions in the machine, or an external production changer with 181 positions
- Swivel table carries 500 kg (1,102 lb) with a swivel angle of up to 200°
- Gantry design with dual drives and a polymer concrete bed
Limitations
- Tool capacity falls to 48 positions with the HSK A63 spindle
- Z travel is 500 mm (19.7 in), and the 5-axis workpiece height is limited to 550 mm
- Weighs 11,500 kg (25,353 lb), against 8,500 kg (18,739 lb) for the HIGH SPEED EAGLE V5
- No geared C-axis speed is listed; the 100 rpm figure applies to the torque drive
