Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide GSA-4032 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Three versions of the indexing head are offered on the Vision Wide GSA-4032, and they set the character of the machine. The standard is the IAC-15,000rpm/HSK-A100. The options are an IAC-12,000 rpm / HSK-A100 and an IAC-24,000 rpm / HSK-A63.
The interface tells the story. HSK-A100 is a large taper for large cutters, so the two heads that use it are the ones for roughing and for long, heavy tools; the feature list quotes a tool clamping force of 20kN. HSK-A63 is the smaller interface, and the faster head that uses it is a finishing head for small ball mills in aluminum, graphite or hardened steel.
The specification table prints one power figure, 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp), and one speed, 15,000 rpm, which match the standard head. Ratings for the two optional heads are not on the page, so the power of the head being quoted should be confirmed.
The frame is a 4,000 mm (157.5 in) by 3,200 mm (126.0 in) gantry over a 4,000×3,200 mm (157.5×126.0 in) fixed table. At this X length the ball screw support device is standard. Rapid traverse is 32/32/20 m/min, and a 20T magazine with arm type ATC is fitted unless the 32T is ordered.
