We do not have a price for the Vision Wide MS-2120 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Roller ways carry the X and Y axes of the Vision Wide MS-2120. Vision Wide calls them heavy duty roller ways and credits them with low friction and high stiffness.
Roller guides differ from the ball type in a way that matters for milling. A roller touches its rail along a line, a ball at a point, so for the same size a roller guide deflects less under load and carries more. It keeps the low friction of a rolling guide, which is what allows 24 m/min rapids in X and Y, while moving some way toward the stiffness that heavy cuts need. The Z axis, where the cutting thrust comes back up the head, is a box way on the standard build.
The MS-2120 has a nearly square envelope: 2,100 mm (82.7 in) of X and 2,000 mm (78.7 in) of Y, over a 2,000x1,800 mm (78.7x70.9 in) table that carries 8,000 kg (17,637 lb).
The standard spindle is a 6,000rpm 2-step gear type with 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp). Z travel is 800 mm, with 1,020 mm optional on the box way head. As a milling machine it has no magazine on the standard list; one can be added in 32, 40 or 60 tool sizes.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Heavy duty roller ways on the X-Y axis, which the maker says combine low friction and high stiffness. The standard spindle head runs on a box way Z axis.
02
2,100 mm (82.7 in) in X and 2,000 mm (78.7 in) in Y. Z is 800 mm, or 1,020 mm on the box way head and 1,000 mm on the linear way head as options.
03
The MS-2116 has 1,600 mm (63.0 in) of Y and a 2,000x1,500 mm (78.7x59.1 in) table. The MS-2120 has 2,000 mm (78.7 in) of Y and a 2,000x1,800 mm (78.7x70.9 in) table. Both carry 8,000 kg (17,637 lb).
