Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide MF-3000 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The beam of the Vision Wide MF-3000 leans. Vision Wide describes a 65-degree slant beam with 3 sliding ways that gives strong support to the headstock, and claims the best heavy-cutting performance among machines of the same column distance.
The geometry explains the claim. On an upright beam the headstock hangs from the front face and its weight pulls it away from the ways. Tilt the beam back and the head lies partly on top of it, so gravity seats it into the guides instead. Three sliding ways, not two, then share the load, with the middle one under the centre of the saddle. The spindle ends up closer to the mass of the beam, and a cut that would rock a hanging head is taken against solid support.
The MF is the maker's large box way milling machine. This model has 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of X travel, 2,300 mm (90.6 in) of Y and a 3,200x2,050 mm (126.0x80.7 in) table for 11,000 kg (24,250 lb). Its figures match the VF-3000 machining center.
Rapid traverse is 12 m/min on all three axes and cutting feed 1-7,000 mm/min. The spindle is geared: 4,000 rpm standard, 6,000 rpm optional, on 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp). A tool magazine of 40 or 60 tools is an option.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
A beam set at 65 degrees with 3 sliding ways, which Vision Wide says provides strong support to the headstock and the best performance for heavy cutting compared to others with the same column distance.
02
The two specification tables match: 3,200 mm (126.0 in) by 2,300 mm (90.6 in) travels and a 3,200x2,050 mm (126.0x80.7 in) table for 11,000 kg (24,250 lb). The MF-3000 is listed as a milling machine, with its magazine as an option.
03
A 4,000 rpm two-step gear spindle as standard and 6,000 rpm as an option. Power is 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp), with 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) and 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) optional.
04
As an option. The accessory lists offer a 40/60 tools magazine with arm type ATC, and the table lists tool capacity as 40/60 pcs(Opt.). No magazine is on the standard list.
