Vision Wide SF-2627 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Vision Wide SF-2627 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Vision Wide or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Vision Wide SF-2627 has 2,600 mm (102.4 in) of X travel and 2,700 mm (106.3 in) of Y, so its travels are almost equal, over a 2,500x1,800 mm (98.4x70.9 in) table that takes 9,000 kg (19,841 lb).

The standard equipment list is worth reading alongside those figures, because on a five-sided machine the supporting systems do more work. Chips fall from side faces as well as from the top, and the SF comes with a screw type chip conveyor on table side plus a caterpillar type chip conveyor and water tank. The spindle has its own cooling system and so does the cutting fluid. What is not included is coolant through the spindle: the 20/70 bar system is an option and is listed for the vertical spindle.

Control is the FANUC 0iMF PLUS. Three linear axes are what the series description promises, so any head attachment is positioned, not interpolated, as far as the SF page shows.

The Z axis runs on box ways and the spindle is the 2-step gear type with 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp). Rapid traverse is X/Y/Z : 24/20/15 m/min. A floor-standing changer holds 32 tools as standard.
