We do not have a price for the Vision Wide VF-3000 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
A sloping beam is the signature of the Vision Wide VF-3000. Vision Wide says the unique design of the sloping beam brings the center of the Z axis close to the beam, which shortens the lever on which cutting forces act and lets a box way machine take a heavier cut for the same deflection.
The VF is the larger of the maker's two all-box-way double-column lines. This model has 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of X travel, 2,300 mm (90.6 in) of Y and a 3,200x2,050 mm (126.0x80.7 in) table that carries 11,000 kg (24,250 lb). Z travel is 920 mm, with 1,020 mm as an option.
Like its smaller relatives it is slow and strong by design. Rapid traverse is 12 m/min on X, Y and Z and cutting feed is 1-7,000 mm/min. The spindle is a 4,000 rpm two-step gear type as standard, 6,000 rpm as an option, on 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp), with 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) and 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) motors available.
It sits just above the VB-3020 in size; the VB-3020 has 3,100 mm (122.0 in) of X, 2,000 mm (78.7 in) of Y and a 3,100×1,700 mm (122.0×66.9 in) table for the same 11,000 kg.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It is the cross beam design of the VF series. Vision Wide says the unique design of the sloping beam enabled the center of the Z axis close to the beam, and that the spindle sits close to the Y box way to reduce the unbalanced cutting moment.
02
X travel 3,200 mm (126.0 in), Y travel 2,300 mm (90.6 in), Z travel 920 mm or optionally 1,020 mm. The table is 3,200x2,050 mm (126.0x80.7 in) and carries 11,000 kg (24,250 lb).
03
The VB-3020 has a 3,100×1,700 mm (122.0×66.9 in) table and 2,000 mm (78.7 in) of Y. The VF-3000 has a 3,200x2,050 mm (126.0x80.7 in) table and 2,300 mm (90.6 in) of Y. Both carry 11,000 kg (24,250 lb) and both use box ways.
04
The table lists 40/60 pcs(Opt.). A 40 tools magazine with arm type ATC is standard and a 60 tools magazine with arm type ATC is the option.
