How much does the Vision Wide GSF-3027 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide GSF-3027 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
When is continuous five-axis worth having over an indexing head? The Vision Wide GSF-3027 and the GSA-3027 pose the question directly: both are gantries with 3,000 mm (118.1 in) of X travel and 2,700 mm (106.3 in) of Y, both have a 15,000 rpm spindle, and the GSF is the one whose B and C axes move during the cut.
The answer lies in the part surface. If the features are planes and holes at fixed angles, an indexed head does everything needed. If the surface curves in two directions, such as a turbine blade form, a car-body die radius running into a draft wall, or a composite layup tool, the tool axis has to follow it, and only simultaneous motion keeps a short tool normal to the surface without leaving steps between indexed patches.
The GSF-3027 is built for that second kind of work. Its head has a built-in spindle direct-driven on the B and C axes, and Vision Wide quotes a TCPM accuracy of 0.04mm.
The table is 3,000 x 2,700 mm (118.1 x 106.3 in) at 3,000 kg/m2. Rapids are 32 m/min in X and Y and 20 m/min in Z, with 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp) at the spindle. Tool capacity is listed as 20/32/40/60 pcs.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- B and C axes move during the cut for true simultaneous five-axis work
- TCPM accuracy of 0.04mm as stated by the maker
- 3,000 x 2,700 mm (118.1 x 106.3 in) fixed table
- Tool capacity listed as 20/32/40/60 pcs
Limitations
- More head complexity than the indexing GSA-3027 for work that is only 3+2
- Z travel of 1,000/1,200 mm (39.4/47.2 in) limits very deep parts
- Standard magazine is the 20T size

Frequently Asked Questions
01
They share 3,000 mm (118.1 in) of X and 2,700 mm (106.3 in) of Y. The GSF-3027 cuts with five axes moving together; the GSA-3027 indexes its head and cuts with three. Curved surfaces favour the GSF, angled planes and holes the GSA.
02
Vision Wide gives a 5 axis dynamic rotation synchronization accuracy (TCPM) of 0.04mm. It also lists 2-axis head rotation error mechanism chain correction as standard.
03
The specification table lists 20/32/40/60 pcs. The accessory lists name a vertical type tool magazine 20T as standard and a 32T magazine as an option.
04
32 m/min in X and Y, 20 m/min in Z, and a cutting feed range of 1-20,000 mm/min. Spindle power is 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp).
