Vision Wide GSA-6032 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Vision Wide GSA-6032 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Vision Wide or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The largest GSA is the Vision Wide GSA-6032, a 3+2 axis gantry with 6,000 mm (236.2 in) of X travel, 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y and a 6,000×3,200 mm (236.2×126.0 in) fixed table.

One figure a buyer would expect is missing from this page on purpose. Vision Wide's GSA table prints a single table load, in kilograms, for all eleven models, from the smallest table to this one. A figure that does not change between tables so different in area cannot be read as a total for each, and the maker's other gantry tables state load per square metre. Until Vision Wide confirms the rating for this table, plan part weight with the maker, not from the page.

The travels, spindle and feeds are clear. Z is 1,000 mm, or 1,200 mm as an option. The indexing head carries a 15,000 rpm spindle rated 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp). Rapid traverse is 32/32/20 m/min and cutting feed 1~20,000 mm/min.

At six metres the X screws are supported, both are driven, and each side has its own linear scale. That is the standard build, as is the HEIDENHAIN TNC640. The six-metre GSF-6032 has the same travels with a continuous five-axis head.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Largest GSA envelope: 6,000 mm (236.2 in) by 3,200 mm (126.0 in)
  • 6,000×3,200 mm (236.2×126.0 in) fixed table
  • Dual-driven X axis with dual linear scales and ball screw support
  • 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp), 15,000 rpm indexing head

Limitations

  • Table load for this size is not clear from the maker's table
  • Z travel of 1,000 mm, or 1,200 mm optional, is modest for the plan area
  • 3+2 axis indexing only; continuous five-axis needs the GSF-6032
06

Best For

The largest molds and tooling in the GSA range Wide, long parts needing angled machining in one setup Light-alloy and mold work where part weight is not the limit

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the largest Vision Wide GSA model?

The GSA-6032, with 6,000 mm (236.2 in) of X travel, 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y and a 6,000×3,200 mm (236.2×126.0 in) table. Z travel is 1,000/1,200 mm (39.4/47.2 in)(Opt.).

02 What is the table load of the GSA-6032?

The page does not settle it. The GSA table prints the same load figure in kilograms for every model regardless of table size, so the value for this table should be confirmed with Vision Wide before planning heavy work.

03 How does the GSA-6032 differ from the GSF-6032?

Both have 6,000 mm (236.2 in) of X and 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y. The GSA-6032 has an indexing head for 3+2 axis work; the GSF-6032 is the continuous five-axis version with direct-driven B and C axes.

04 What are the feeds and rapids of the GSA-6032?

Cutting feed is 1~20,000 mm/min. Rapid traverse is 32/32/20 m/min for X/Y/Z, the same as on the shortest GSA, the GSA-1627.
