Vision Wide GSF-6032 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Vision Wide GSF-6032 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Vision Wide or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training

Overview

The Vision Wide GSF-6032 is the largest five-axis gantry in the GSF series, with 6,000 mm (236.2 in) of X travel, 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y and a 6,000 x 3,200 mm (236.2 x 126.0 in) fixed table.

At this size the specification table answers the first questions and leaves the rest for the quotation. It gives the travels, a Z of 1,000/1,200 mm (39.4/47.2 in), the table and its 3,000 kg/m2 rating, 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp) at 15,000 rpm, the feeds, and a tool capacity of 20/32/40/60 pcs. It does not give machine weight, floor area, the rotary axis ranges or the clearance under the gantry.

For a part family that fits, the performance figures hold up well against the smaller models because nothing is derated with length. Rapid traverse is still 32 m/min in X and Y and 20 m/min in Z, and cutting feed still runs 1-20,000 mm/min. The same is true of the stated accuracies: TCPM 0.04mm and ±5 arc-seconds of rotation positioning on B and C.

The GSA-6032 offers the same envelope with an indexing head, for work that is angled but not contoured.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Largest GSF envelope: 6,000 mm (236.2 in) by 3,200 mm (126.0 in)
  • Rapids of 32 m/min in X and Y are not derated at this length
  • TCPM 0.04mm and ±5 arc-second rotary positioning stated for the series
  • 6,000 x 3,200 mm (236.2 x 126.0 in) fixed table at 3,000 kg/m2

Limitations

  • Machine weight, floor area and gantry clearance are not published
  • Rotary axis ranges are not on the page
  • Z travel of 1,000/1,200 mm (39.4/47.2 in) for a six-metre machine

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the largest Vision Wide GSF model?

The GSF-6032: 6,000 mm (236.2 in) of X travel, 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y, 1,000/1,200 mm (39.4/47.2 in) of Z and a 6,000 x 3,200 mm (236.2 x 126.0 in) table.

02 Is the GSF-6032 slower than the smaller GSF machines?

Not on the published figures. Rapid traverse is 32 m/min in X and Y and 20 m/min in Z, and cutting feed is 1-20,000 mm/min, the same as on the GSF-1627.

03 What does the GSF-6032 table carry?

The rating is 3,000 kg/m2 on a fixed table of 6,000 x 3,200 mm (236.2 x 126.0 in). The maker states it per square metre, not as a total.

04 What is the difference between the GSF-6032 and the GSA-6032?

They share 6,000 mm (236.2 in) of X and 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y. The GSF-6032 cuts with five axes moving together. The GSA-6032 has an indexing head for 3+2 axis machining.
