Overview
The Palmary OIG-200DL35 is the long version of Palmary's two-spindle CNC internal grinder. It holds workpieces up to 350 mm (13.8 in) long and grinds bores up to Ø150 mm (5.9 in) with either of two internal wheel spindles.
Relative to the OIG-200D the changes follow the pattern of the single-spindle family. The workhead motor becomes 2.25 kW (3.0 hp), the work spindle load rises to 50 kg (110 lb), and the workhead swivel narrows to +1° to -1°. Z and Y travel are each 450 mm (17.7 in); X remains 480 mm (18.9 in).
A long part with operations at both spindles is the case this model is built for. Think of a spindle housing with a bearing bore at each diameter step, or a sleeve whose bore and counterbore need different wheels. With both spindles on the machine the second operation starts without rechucking, so the two bores share one axis.
