Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD Strippit VX-1225 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Speed is the headline on the LVD Strippit VX-1225. Of the turret machines LVD lists for 1,250 x 2,500 mm (49.2 x 98.4 in) sheet it has the highest figures: 920 HPM at 1 mm pitch, 530 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch and a combined X-Y positioning speed of 161 m/min. The Strippit M-1225, on the same sheet, is listed at 850 HPM, 400 HPM and 96 m/min.
The rates come from a servo-controlled high/low hydraulic ram, which LVD says also lowers energy use, and from Smart Stroke, which picks the tool hover height without input from the programmer. Punching force is 200 kN and the thickness limit 6.35 mm (0.25 in). Average consumption is listed at 6.7 kW.
Its turret has 48 stations. Four are 88.9 mm indexable stations, and multitools take the maximum tool count to 76. The turret is fully bushed: each sleeve can be replaced individually, so wear is repaired at the station instead of by re-machining the turret. Die holders are quick-change, with a die change quoted at 15 seconds.
The table side is fuller than on LVD's simpler machines. Three CNC work clamps with sheet pull-out sensors position themselves and can relocate mid-cycle, a programmable chute takes parts up to 450 x 500 mm (17.7 x 19.7 in), and the brush table is rated for up to 150 kg (331 lb) at reduced speed. Feed clearance is 25 mm (1.0 in).
LVD marks automatic load/unload, the Compact Tower, bin sort and robot pick/sort as available. For heavier punching on a larger sheet, the Strippit V30-1530 offers 300 kN at lower speed.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
LVD lists 920 HPM at 1 mm pitch, 530 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch and 1750 HPM in marking. The combined X-Y positioning speed is 161 m/min and a tool change takes 0.8 sec. A high/low servo-controlled hydraulic ram and the Smart Stroke function are behind the hit rates.
02
Every station in the turret is bushed, and the sleeves hold punch and die in alignment. When a station wears, its sleeve is replaced on its own. LVD's point is that the turret itself never needs re-machining, which protects alignment over the life of the machine.
03
The Strippit VX-1225 is the faster machine at 200 kN: 161 m/min positioning and 530 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch. The Strippit V30-1530 is rated at 300 kN, with 128 m/min and 440 HPM, on a larger 1,524 x 3,048 mm sheet. Both have 48 stations, four 88.9 mm auto-index stations and a 6.35 mm thickness limit.
04
Through a programmable parts removal chute that accepts parts up to 450 x 500 mm (17.7 x 19.7 in). Parts drop into a bin under the machine table or go to an optional bin-sort system. A parts conveyor and a rotary bin sort are listed among the options.
05
48 stations, including four 88.9 mm indexable stations. With multitools the maximum tool capacity is 76. A 25 mm (1.0 in) feed clearance between the turrets lets formed parts pass, and the angular positioning accuracy of the indexing stations is ± 0.05 degrees.
